Indoor Noise Exposure Monitoring

The objective of Indoor Noise Exposure monitoring is to measure the level of noise being exposed to employees at a workplace and this Indoor Noise Exposure monitoring is mandatory under Factories and Machinery Act 1967.

The Indoor Noise Exposure monitoring shall be conducted at least once, until there are changes in the production machinery such as layout of the machine, manpower movement, etc.. However, wherever applicable, another round of Indoor Noise Exposure monitoring (Positive Noise Exposure Monitoring)to be performed within 6 month.

As a practice, Indoor Noise Exposure monitoring is typically divided into Area Noise Exposure monitoring and Personal Noise Exposure monitoring.

The Indoor Noise Exposure monitoring shall be conducted by a competent person with the following DOSH approval. Our reports will include findings with recommendations on suitable control measures for DOSH submission.
